Licensing and Accreditation:

All Foothills Care, Inc. services & programs are licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities and/or the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, and are accredited nationally by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

 

School-Based Services

Foothills Care provides a wide range of subcontracted wraparound behavioral support and intervention/education services to area school systems, including:

  • Routine and crisis intervention behavioral support in classrooms to special education students with serious emotional disturbance (SED)
  • Elementary, Middle, High and Alternative School on site counseling services
  • Alcohol and Drug Education and Prevention Groups, utilizing SAMHSA approved A&D education and prevention materials
  • Mental Health Assessments and classroom behavioral observation
  • Attendance in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings for behavioral intervention recommendations
  • Regular and special education teacher training on effective developmental, relational and behavioral intervention techniques
